On the Xbox 360, there is also a mode called " Just Create" which allows players to link together their own moves into a custom routine for a song.Īnother Xbox 360 exclusive mode is named Dance Off, and it looks similar to Just Create at some points, the game asks you to dance freely to a certain point of the song, and then it replays it. The Wii and PlayStation 3 versions have a Hold My Hand dance mode, where up to 8 players can play sharing four controllers. Modes that make a return include Non-Stop Shuffle, Speed Shuffle, and Just Sweat Mode. Dance Mashups combine different and previous dance routines to different songs. Along with the solo and duet modes, there is a Dance Crew mode which allows four players to dance together.
It's a great game.Like the previous games, the game focuses on up to four players who mimic on-screen dance moves. Anyway, just get the PS4 version and have fun. I'd never think the PS5 version is stripped out of the camera support. I also wrote a negative review of the PS5 version I accidentally bought. You just buy the game and it shows in your PS5 to download. If you have PS5 and want the PS4 version, use the web browser and access PS Store from your browser. Too bad the PS4 version is NOT LISTED in the PS Store when you access the store on PS5. Adapters are not openly available but a lot of people got them (with the VR set for example) so you can easily find one on eBay or Amazon.
To all PS5 owners, yes, your PS5 will use the PS4 camera, if you have the adapter. It's great the PS4 version is still there. Another set of songs, another year of fun for the whole family.
